"I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbors children. I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden. I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."

Oh, what do you do in the winter time?

Oh, what do you do in the winter time, when all the state is gray? Do you...

Color on the counter...
Or dump a bottle of glue in the sink,
Or hide your sister's favorite toys in the fridge?!

Is that what you do? So does Ty....

Tip of the day

Contrary to Tyler's theory, crayons will not "turn white" when placed in the dishwasher. Instead they will melt/harden on the bottom of the dishwasher and leave little crayon wrappers plastered to all of your dishes. Thank you, son.

Happy 3rd Birthday Buster!

These past three years have been filled with energy and enthusiasm. Who would have thought so much spunk could be packed into a little 40" and 40 pound body?! You're outgoing, full of life, and as mischievous as they come. We love you Tyler, and if anyone can put me into labor soon, it's you!!!!
